wooden flooring.
i was going to attempt the lollypop flooring that everyone on the forum mentions, but i was just looking for some freebies online when i came across this flooring. im thinking of using it in my dining room, just not sure which one.
christmas things
Whilst i was oujt on an errond for my mum, i saw these wonderful christmas things. i bought some tinsell with little stars on them, a big snowman that lights up, a little mini snowman figurine and some chunky ribbon. Whilst these are made for us, to use on our xmas dsisplays/pressies/presents etc i want to use them for my dolls house.
The pink and blue ribbon i am going to use as wrapping paper for my presents, and the gold one i am going to use as a dining table cloth/runner. the tinsell i am going to use to decorate my house, the big light up snowman is for the garden, and the little figurine is an big ornement for my dining or living room. at first i thought they were going to be too big and was an impulse buy but now ive got them home and tried them out in the places i was going to put them it doesnt look that bad. the huge snowman just looks like some of the big ones you can buy for real house gardens.

So I'm sat here watching xfactor with my pile of dolls house mags and my head close to exploding due to all the mini ideas spinning around. And now I'm in the prediciment of where to start. Do I finish the one I have or shall I do a little bit of each In turns.. I realy want to do hogwarts(see other blogg) I also want to do a shop, and a fish and chip shop. I also want to do a seaside beach hut.. So many ideas and too many to chose first.. This house is going to be more like a farm house with a working farm, I also want to do a childrens nursery that is ran next door to the house, full of toys for the kids to play with..

bags and footwear
the black bag and the pink evening bag have been handmade, the ballerina bag is from the DHE.
here is a mixture of assorted footwear both adults and children.
it contains a pair of pink slippers, also in white, spotty red and white slippers, pink girls shoes, 3 pairs of dusky pink girls shoes, boys converses and riding boots. none of these have been handmade however i have recently made some myself.

handmade dresses, and aprons.
its amazing what you can do with a little bit of spare material, and transfer printable paper :) oh and a bit of ribbon
the aprons are all different, theres a spiderman, high school musical- in which i have made two of, for the twin girls. snow white and spongebob squarepants.
the larger dress above is from the DHE again but the other is handmade.
living room
well heres my living room. its more aless done now, just the celing
and the chimney breast to do and to finish the skirting. :) complete
well i havnt posted much lately, mainly due to the fact ive moved back in with my mum so havnt had the time.. i havnt even had much time to do any work on my dolls house or that of my hogwarts dream, just the ideas going around in my head constantly..
im hoping that now ive sorted things out, and sorted uni things out, i can start to do some miniature work again. so heres to hoping :) anyway theres a lot of things to be doing in this house, still need to make internal and external doors, finish the windows, finish decorating and finish my lighting off. im also need to do a cupboard for under the hallway stairs, for cleaning products such as a mop and bucket. ive also just had an idea do make a cupboard for the attic landing for things such as spare toilet rolls, and towels.
then of course after ive done all that theres still the garden to start/finish and the next stage of the extension. :) think ive got my work cut out, but hey it keeps me occupied and out of mischeive as my mum would say. :P
